hallelujah

thank you costco. i bought it two days ago and have been waiting for the perfect moment to dive in. sleeping child, clean house, and maybe more than five hours of sleep the night before. i'm so excited! who's with me?

denver zoo

back in may, mike's parents came to denver for a visit. it was short and sweet, but we did get out to the denver zoo. i just found all the pictures i took from there, yay! we had a great time together, however, i did realize that i HATE zoos. it is so sad that these poor animals are trapped in a cage the size of my dining room. and the lions were the worst. they were huge and in the smallest enclosure i could imagine. needless to say i won't be going to any more zoos in the future, but we all had fun spending the day together regardless. and of course eli was the cutest ever. here are some pics.

we can always count on having fun when grandpa and uncle todd are around. eli loves them and they're always introducing him to fun things!

"reunited and it feels so good"

violet and eli have finally reunited. cassie and the little ones came home a few weeks ago and the two peas in a pod have been inseparable.
