Auntie Know Best

Eli never lets me cut his fingernails, anyone who knows him would know that his legs and arms never stop moving long enough. Supermom's first attempt put him to sleep. What the H-E-double hockey sticks?

Father's Day

Father's day was very low key. Eli and I sent Mike off to get a massage for being such a great daddy. He came home, we ate dinner, and met Todd and Brittney at the pool to swim. Eli loved swimming with Daddy and uncle Todd. Earlier in the week, Claire and I took Eli to go swimming for the first time. He was very calm about the whole experience, somewhat boring, but I can't complain, at least he wasn't screaming. Here are some highlights from the day....

Eli and Daddy hanging out

I don't really know what this face is for, but it's heartbreaking.

Eli loved swimming with Daddy and Uncle Todd....

....so much that it wore him out (I swear he can breathe)

These pics are from his first swim. Notice the same expression in every picture, I hope he gets more exciting.

Tired boy

Happy Father's Day!

Cousins

Eli loves his cousins so very much. During our recent trip to California we got to hang out with them ALL the time. We all stayed at my parents house together (that's right, four of us girls and two babies. It was a blast!) minus Jenny and the boys, they stayed at their house. Party poopers. Anyway, I've been told one too many times that I suck at blogging and I need to post more, so I'm going to attempt a post a day. That is very ambitious to say the least, but hey shoot for the stars right? So here's the first of many more to come!

First off, Jayms has grown up so much and is such a helper. During this trip he was V's personal body guard, always looking out for her. Here, her sock fell off and he was helping her put it on.

Here he is looking as cute as ever, and taking a picture of Eli with his camera (it's really a metronome).

Here is sweet Jayms telling Eli to not kick him.

Jayms has a thing for playing footsie with everyone, Eli was no exception.

Something tells me V won't have any trouble holding her own amongst these boys....

They'll learn to play nice.
