Better Update

 Alright, this ones for the fam.  I have been horrible at keeping my family updated with little E.i.'s life.  So this is what we've been up to.........

First time going to church.  It was Mother's Day and Eli's one month birthday!

Baby Eli

I've been behind on my blogging, I know.  Baby Eli is now a whopping 3 weeks old, and is such a joy.  We took him to the doctor 4 days after he was born and he weighed 7 lbs., 11 oz., which was 9 oz. less than what he weighed at birth.  We went in 2 days later and he weighed the same.  So, doctor's orders were to go back 8 days later for his 2 week check up, and he weighed in at 8 lbs., 8 oz.  Yes people, my child has gained 13 oz. in 8 days.  He's going to be a "healthy" boy to say the least.  Well I wanted to post more pictures of the little guy for your viewing pleasure, so enjoy.

Meet Eli Todd Walker, the newest member of our little family.  After a grueling 3 days in the hospital, he decided to grace us with his presence on April 10 at 10:38 in the morning.  He was 8 pounds 4 ounces and 20 inches long.  His cone head was measured in at 13 inches, but it is now the cutest shaped little head I've ever seen.  We are so so happy to finally have him here and we cherish every moment with him.  Especially since Mike will be leaving for Texas next week ; (  We're going to miss Daddy so much, but thank goodness for iChat!  We will be following but not for a little while.  I'm definitely going to miss Mike's AMAZING help, I slept so much last night and poor hubby was up all night with Eli.  He is such an amazing support and a wonderful daddy!  We are a happy family and can't wait to see what's in store for us!  

No Baby Yet

So it's still a week until my due date, but I'm getting restless.  I had a doctor's appointment today, thinned cervix?  Yes (50+%).  contractions?  Yes.  baby "dropped"?  Yes.  dilated AT ALL?  No.  Hopefully this week I will have pictures to post of baby Eli, outside the womb!  I have another doctor's appointment scheduled for next monday, so everyone cross your fingers that I don't make it until then.  Seriously, cross your fingers. 

Friday the 13th Birthday

We celebrated Mike's 26th birthday on Friday!  There was sushi, thanks to mom who slaved, and of course, cake!

And of course we have Sweet Baby Violet - She's wearing blue just for uncle Mike.

I've decided that since Mike insists on taking pictures where he looks like that.....then I'm going to post them for the world to see.

There he is looking handsome, and normal.  Let me just tell you what a blessing MIke has been during this pregnancy business.  He is so attentive and supportive, and waits on me hand and foot.  He has made this as easy on me as anyone could.  I love you so much sweetheart, thank you for everything you do! <3

Four Weeks and Counting!

Let me start by pointing out the exclamation mark at the end of my title, what would be more appropriate is one of those nervous smiley faces.  I cannot believe that my due date is exactly four weeks from today, I'm sad to say that I am so not prepared.  Nobody get crazy and call child services on me, I just need a few strokes of paint and maybe a few nights when I don't wake up 13 times to roll over.  I have my "awkward" doctor's appointment on Thursday, so I'll hopefully have some info to share.......or keep to myself depending on what it is.  Hopefully within the next week I'll have some nursery pictures to post.  Keep in touch!
